My client is recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join their busy and passionate kitchen team at one of there luxury hotels in Cornwall.
As Sous chef, you will assistant and support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen. We will expect you to take full responsibility and authority of the kitchen in Chefs absence. To be a successful candidate in this vacancy you should hold the following capabilities,
Help ensure the restaurant continues to provide an exceptional guest experience.
You must be passionate about preparing fresh food, sourced from local suppliers.
You should have previous experience of working within a similarly high quality environment.
As Sous Chef you will fully support the Head Chef and be involved in all aspects of food preparation including service and quality.
You should have experience of managing a kitchen team and be able to develop and train the chef brigade and assist the waiting staff.
As sous chef you will be responsible for ordering, financial performance managing costs and stock levels and managing food safety.
